Getting Ready Time: 17 minutes.

It’s starting to feel like the entire world has been flooded by ‘transitioning’ advice (the weather kind, not the gender reassignment). I keep seeing cosy sweaters paired up with cute summer dresses, suede jackets with opened toed booties, colourful sandals with patterned socks. Which is lovely. Amazing. But it’s just so annoying.

Maybe if you live in LA, you could get away with this (and yes, I am totally out of control jealous about LA weather, lifestyle and the fact that you can go to the beach whenever you feel like it), but let’s face the reality. Life in London is a lot more about a shirt layered with a sweater under a coat; definitely nothing sandal related. So here is my take on ‘transitioning’: parka + fur lined vest meets a cute pair of shade. Might not look as sexy, but at the very least I won’t get hyperthermia. And as for sandals- I will have to save mine for August.
